What’s the Difference Between MA5621 and MA5621A

Difference between the Application
The MA5621 is used for remote collection and transmission of power system information. In the up-stream direction, an MA5621 is connected to two Optical Line Terminals (OLTs) through two Passive Optical Network (PON) ports for network protection. In thedown-stream direction, it is connected to the Remote Terminal Unit (RTU), Feeder Terminal Unit (FTU), and Transformer Terminal Unit (TTU) through the FE and serial ports.

The MA5621A is used for the centralized collection of power system electrical meter data. In the upstream direction, the MA5621A is connected to the OLT through the PON port, while in the downstream direction, it is connected to the concentrator or intelligent electrical meter through the FE or RS485 serial port.
